Description
This art print features a Ferrari Testarossa and an Art Deco building in Miami, Florida. The Iconic Cars and Architecture Illustration Series juxtapose some the quintessential design achievements of the twentieth century.
Designed by Pininfarina and first introduced at the 1984 Paris Auto Show. Many associate the Testarossa with the 1980s TV show Miami Vice. The white 1985 or 1986 single mirror car is just like the one driven by Crockett and Tubbs. Seen in the background is the the Art Deco Carlyle Hotel in South Beach. I’m partial to Midcentury modern architecture and considered several Miami Modern (MiMo) and even Sarasota Modern buildings before coming back to The Carlyle. The Carlyle is one of the most recognizable buildings in the South Beach Art Deco District because of it’s frequent appearances in TV shows like Miami Vice and Movies like Scarface and many more.
Professionally printed using only the highest quality materials on fine acid-free art bright white paper.
